Answer engine optimization (AEO)

Also: AEO

A common name for work meant to help a business appear in answers from ChatGPT and similar tools.

How this fits the service

People ask AI assistants to recommend businesses; yours may be missing, so Logres checks why competitors appear, helps fix the gaps the evidence supports, and asks again later.

What it means

Answer engine optimization is the name some marketers use for improving the information AI assistants may use in an answer. The work can include clearer service pages, useful answers to customer questions, accurate business facts, and credible mentions on other websites.

There is no settled scoring standard for AEO, and no outside company controls what an AI assistant will say.

Why it matters to your business

The label is useful shorthand, but it often comes with promises no vendor can honestly make. Ask what will be checked, what will be changed, and how the vendor will check the answers again.

What Logres can and cannot check

Logres does not give a business an AEO score. It checks whether the business was named, which links were cited, whether the description was correct, and whether the website was easy to read.
